Subject: Vermilion Tri
Hello.  Is anyone else participating in the Vermilion Tri this year on 8/15?
I currently live in Chicago but have family in NE Ohio.  This was my first ever tri (did it last year) and I really enjoyed it so I am coming back again this year.

I am pretty sure I will be.  Have been training for it all year as my first OLY ever and have the registration printed out and waiting to be mailed.  Trying to come up with the $100!!!!

Awesome!  I am just signed up for the sprint right now. I have family coming to watch and figured they may not want to sit around for 3 hrs haha. Actually I have an Olympic in two weeks after that and one before so I thought I would take it easier in Vermilion.

I don't think it costs $100 though. It says the race is $55 for the Olympic if you sign up for 8/2.

With the service charges and the USAT membership it comes out to about $100!!!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the Girls Tri Too in Vermilion on the 14th.  I live in Columbus now but grew up in Sandusky so my parents are still there and it will be fun to do something up there.

I am going to see if I can make it there to watch and support the Girls Tri Too race on Sat morning but I'm not sure since it's early in the morning and I don't know my travel plans getting to Ohio yet. 

I'll definitely be there for the spaghetti dinner on Sat afternoon/evening though.

Interesting. I talked to three seperate people who said the sprint course bike read 11:43 instead of 12:43, sounds like the bike course may have been off? Results are posted.
