stevestenzel - 2010-07-30 8:37 AM I just got a package from SwimOutlet.com. If I work up the courage, I might do Waseca in only this..........

Wow those are awful!!

I think the only way to top that outfit is to rock the mankini Faris style.  You know you want to!

Congrats Jeff!

Thx.

Nope, Steve had his street attire on when he nabbed his bling.

Jeff - you won your division!  Good job!

Steve - you had 5th overall!  In those shorts!  Wow.  I hope you left them on until you collected your award.

Good job guys!!!

Ha! Thanks Emily! My bike wasn't great, but I caught a lot of people on that hot lap around the lake!

And I had a shirt and khaki pants on for awards, but the shorts were still on underneath! I just put a lot of photos of them (with me in them) on my blog this morning!

It was fun to chat with some of the TriRochester gang out there! Nice work everyone!

Steve,

Your blog is a hoot.   I laughed out loud.  Especially the "vomiting man" - haha.

Had a great time this weekend at our 2nd-ever sprint Triathlon. I biked well, but had an absolutely horrible swim - got jittery, forgot all my technique, and never really got my breathing/pacing figured out. Ended up tired before even making it to the yellow bouy - *Bah!*

My wife was in the following wave, and caught/passed me at about mile 2.5 of the run.
Figure that if I had raced the swim (like how I had trained) I would have been about 3-4 minutes faster and we would have *probably* crossed the finish line together... which would have been pretty cool.

P.S. Thanks for burning the photos.  When I saw your blog post, before I saw your other note, I was a little scared.   Normally I love to be photographed
