I have it set to record on my DVR, and I think it's going to be one hour with commercials.  I'm really looking forward to watching it!

My jacket came in about a week ago.  I was so bummed that I didn't even open the box until this weekend.  Strangely enough, mine looks different than the picture posted here.  It just says IRONMAN in reflective silver on the back, and has the crappy logo on the right chest with the word FINISHER underneath.  M-dot in reflective silver embroidered on the left chest.  Very strange.  I'm guessing they are reacting to initial feedback about the jackets and changing the later orders to reflect that?  It's still a crappy sticker on the front though.

Could you snap a pic of front and back?

Yep, will do tonight when I get home.

Okay....one more comment on the jackets:

I bought a nice Mountain Hardware jacket from REI and took it to a local embroidery shop to have it done the way it should have. I grabbed the CdA logo off the web and removed the Ford logo.   I have to pay a one time setup fee of $40 to have the image digitized, but beyond that it's ridiculously cheap to have done  and now that they have the image, I can have other stuff done without the setup fee.

With that being said....if anybody wants to have something embroidered with the logo (or anything else you want to add...I had "2011" added under the logo, but any kind of lettering like finisher or the distances can be done really cheaply) I'd be more than happy to have it done for you.  Just send me the item and I'll take it in.  Mine should be done by friday and I'll post up a pic.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I would love a copy!  It is frustrating to not be able to see Universal Sports and all of the IM broadcasts...

I'm interested how it comes out too!!  I still have my jacket hoping I would get a favorable response from the CEO or whoever I wrote.  I will plan to return it as the 30 day window is almost up.

If it's under an hour, I'll record and send it to all of you for FREE.  The only payment I request is good juju vibes sent to me in Arizona in November.  Crazy good deal, huh.  If the broadcast is over an hour, hubby will have to figure something else out.  We'll work on it.

Maybe you can put it somewhere where we can download it. I rushed home from being out of town in hopes to be home to record it but when I got home at 10pm PST, I realized it played at 7pm PST!  ack!

BTW I was told I'd have a response by the end of this week.

Maybe they made it different for the womens jackets?   That looks way better than the guys, but the non-embroidered logo and no date still really sucks.

It is better than mine but still makes the jacket look cheap with the iron on transfer.  Thanks for the pics.

Just got off the phone with someone at Ironman (who called me) regarding the jackets.  I want to wait for the official statement on Monday (look for one at the IMCdA site) but I can say I think everyone will be happy.

I don't want to put words in their mouth (I'll let them make the statement), but they are doing the right thing and making it right.  Does not matter if you sent it back yet or not.  They were very apologetic and understand everyone's concerns.

Here's hoping they give us the jackets they promised at the merchandise tent, not just give refunds.  Despite how ugly the jackets they gave us look, I still wanted to have one...

Was someone looking for a blue medium CdA shirt with all of the athletes names on the back?  I'm no medium.  Sucks for me.

I'm in Dallas so I know people doing it.  It's a flat course and fast, but I live that environment everyday so I could never sign up for the race.  Just like Arizona and Florida.  North or bust for me.
