Houston Marathon Registration Open (Page 2)

I am in for the full.  I know folks who didn't get in for the half, curious if there is anyone who didn't get in for the full.....

Denied entry.

Congrats to everyone who made it in! I'll be volunteering somewhere race morning.

My wife got in the half, but so far none in our running club that I know of that entered the full were denied.  Several in the half were.  I did not sign up but registered for the Sugar Land half that is two weeks earlier.

CORRECTION:  2 in our running club were denied for the marathon.....just confirmed that.

Wish I would have know about this one. It's closer and cheaper.

I was denied for the full.... looking for a backup plan now.  Any suggestions?
 

This one is two weeks earlier in January.  It is a two loop course.

My group of 6 were all denied.  4 signed up for the full and 2 for the half.  The wife wants to go to New Orleans on Feb 13th now.  Guess I am going to have to bring the bike and get a long ride in there on the 12th

We both both did the USAFit in Sugarland last year.  It was a smaller race but had pretty good support and was well organized.  The course was flat and fast.  

Might do it again this year too.

 

Yeah, its looking like Sugarland, New Orleans or Austin.  I think I'm leaning towards Austin, but its at the end of Feb and I don't want it to get in the way of my IMTX training.

I'm in for the 1/2!  But, I had 10 running BFFs who entered the lotto for the 1/2 and only one of them got in.  And, 4 of my friends who entered for the full did not get in.  The lottery sucks.
