Hey, I'm headed up there from Atlanta for this one.

You (or our TN friends) have any motel/hotel suggestions? The Way Inn, and all on-site cabins and the FCF Inn are sold out!

Thanks!

i was looking at Baymont Inn and Suites in Cookville, about 50 mins from Fall Creek Falls. $72 for one night with a King bed...thats my fall back if i can't stay with a friend who lives near there.

If you want to do it cheap, tent camp.   Done this race twice, once camped, the next one we just drove up - its not that far and I think the race starts at 8am versus 7am.

Just a warning...the swim will feel like bath water, but the run will have some shade.

Have fun.

no more OLY's for me this year, Cedars and I'm done.. (ok maybe one more) aside from the Jailbreak in Sept and the adventure race in October.. looking forward to getting my revenge on the Greenways Half Marathon this year though...

I was within my goal time but still dying on the run and after looking at my sports drink afterwards it was obvious that I did not take in enough during the bike.   I am also planning to do a 70.3 next year...maybe Gulf Coast
