Pre-race routine:

I worked all day then packed up my stuff and headed to the race. I got there way too early, but did get a sweet transition spot.
Event warmup:

I laid on the sidewalk next to my bike.
Swim
  • 16m 55s
  • 825 yards
  • 02m 03s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swim went well. I swim out here all the time so I navigate very well. I ran into the guy who started in front of me at the first buoy but other than that smooth sailing.
Transition 1
  • 00m 57s
Comments:

Under a minute! I'll take it!
What would you do differently?:

I still waste time putting on a shirt. I should probably buy a tri top at some point.
Bike
  • 1h 07m
  • 21 miles
  • 18.81 mile/hr
Comments:

I didn't feel great out there honestly. It took a long time to settle down from the swim and I was thirsty as heck. I was killing my water bottles but I kept trying to push it. 18.8 is the fastest I've ever maintained in a triathlon, so the bike fit I had the day before probably helped. But I really thought I was going to be much faster than last race, but only a :30 improvement.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure. Ride more I guess.
Transition 2
  • 00m 46s
Comments:

I am a transition beast!
Run
  • 27m 15s
  • 3.5 miles
  • 07m 47s  min/mile
Comments:

Ugh..... horrible run. I had to stop and walk a couple of times. Since this was my first time riding in the new bike fit position, I guess I wasn't used to it and my left leg had a horrible muscle cramp. Also, I'm fairly certain I wasn't hydrated since after the race I chugged two 17 oz water bottles. It was also extremely muggy. I took off my shirt during the 2nd lap and that seemed to help. I just wasn't there mentally or physically on this run and so I was 2 minutes off from last week.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more before the race. Ride my bike after I get fit in a training ride before I race.
Post race
Warm down:

I chugged the aforementioned water bottles, ate some oreos, and went home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of hydration, really muggy weather, and mental toughness.

Event comments:

Can't beat it for $11!
