Subject: Ocean City NJ swimming
I'm vacationing in OCNJ from now until Aug 14th.  Looking for some swimming.  The aquatic center said they've been packed all summer long so I don't think I want to pay to not swim much in a crowded pool.  Anyone swimming outside of the Sunday group swims?

I too am in ocean city this week, but commuting to work. T seems to me that the waves are too big and if you go out past the waves, you are in the boat and jet ski traffic, so it doesn't seem very safe to me here.

Check out Wipporwill Campground offshore on Route 9 in Marmora. They let you swim in their pool in the mornings for a couple of dollars. It is 25 meter pool. It is not heated and is outdoor but the water should be fine with the heat we have had. Give them a shout.
