Subject: Question about Eagleman
Could anyone tell me if the Eagleman sells out early? Registration opens in a couple of days. I've just decided that I'd like to do my first HIM in June 2011 but I can't decide between Eagleman or Mooseman. Any comments or opinions on either of these two races would also be greatly appreciated.

I think it fills up pretty quickly.  I've done it the last two years and signed up the day it opened so I didn't have any problems.  I wouldn't wait too long, that's for sure.  They all seem to sell out pretty fast :-)  It's a great race.  I have no info on mooseman.

I've done it 4 times.  This year was the first time I didn't in a long stretch.  Each year it has gone faster.  For the '10 race I think it was sold out in about a week and a half if I'm not mistaken?

Actually this past year it took longer than usual to sell out....closer to 3 weeks versus in year's past where it took less than a week.

Yes it sells out fast.  "Thought" about signing up last year and it was full before I could make up my mind.
