Tried using it as a lubricant for dry mouth during road races. When pushing new pace, it's my weakness. It has a little bitter after taste....so add garlic and hot pepper for a bread dip. It also helps with constipation due to chronic dehydration.

I have been using Udo's in my shakes and salad dressing for almost 10 years now.
I even saw him speak and read his book-Fats that Heal and Fats that kill. He was WAY ahead of the "popular" interest in Omega fatty acids.
I think that taking 1-2 tablespoons a day can be a great supplement. Especially if your diet doesn't include healthy sources of fat.
I also think the stuff is a miracle sleep aid. If I have a teaspoon or so before bed, I sleep like a baby.

Is there a real online retailer? non of my local stores carry Udo's. I have seen imitations online but not the real deal.

You can buy directly from the source:

It can also be found at Whole Foods if you have one around

It depends on the brand. there is a wide variety out there.

Probably no different if it has a high quality blend of the following:

  • organic flax seed oil;
  • organic sunflower seed oil;
  • organic sesame seed oil;
  • rice and oat germ oils;
  • organic coconut oil;
  • organic evening primrose oil;
  • lecithin (guaranteed GMO-free);
  • vitamin E;
  • antioxidants (tocotrienols); and
  • rosemary oil.

I really like it on salads.  Not cheap, tho, so I'm tempted to lick the plate when I'm done
