Subject: Ironman W/C on NBC today
Just a heads up, NBC will be re-airing the 2009 Ironman World Championship today at 3:00 pm (eastern time). 

We had a snowstorm last winter when it was on the first time so I missed half of it because of storm coverage.

Exactly why I never watch it.

It never seems to be covered as a sporting event, but rather as one long human interest story. I am OK with a few minutes of that, but I would rather they spend most of the time covering the race. I guess their coverage is geared toward the average non-triathlete who would be more interested in the back stories.

Regardless, I have never really found watching triathlons on TV very interesting.

Now competing in them ... that is a different story.
