I call this the misery loves company poll.  I recently had my knee scoped and so have been limiting my training to swimming and biking.  What is your ailment, if any?

I went with the "planning to injure myself soon"

Been healthy far too long and missed a couple of prime opportunities to hurt myself... maybe I've got some good juju saved up from last year when I broke my collarbone.

I'm going with the planning to injure option too.  I plan on upping my run volume which tends to result in my knee getting unhappy.  Gonna ramp it up super slowly but  my knee doesn't like me.

More sore than injured... but I worked a 12 hour concert/event Sunday and have some lingering leg soreness that I never really have.

Achilles tendinitis for the last few years.  I haven't run since November, and things finally seem to have settled down.  Doing some strengthening now and will hopefully be able to start running in another week or two.

I also went with the planning to get injured option. Doing an IM build and continually wake up with quirky aches and pains. They all seem to vanish after a good warm-up

Just got diagnosed with Achilles tendonitis in my left heel this morning.  Starting anti-inflamitories.  If no improvement in the next couple of weeks then they're going to schedule an MRI.

Doc says that swimming and cycling are still OK, just no running.

Fortunately my doc is also a triathlete and runner, so is sympathetic and supportive.

Also have had patella tendonitis in my right knee for several years, but it comes and goes.  Kinda learned to live with it.

Mark

I discovered on Sunday that I have a dicky knee.  I also have chronic problems with bursitis in my hips. I am doing nothing to treat either.  I like to have something to complain about.

I'm always in some state of injury.  Mercifully, it's usually minor, but something is always broke.

Cheers, Chris

Healthy now, but probably should have picked the "planning to injure myself soon" option, since I just impulsively added a marathon to my schedule in mid-October...

Recovering from two knee scopes (October and January) as well as a distal femoral osteotomy (January) and a femoral fracture (February). I had a busy winter.

Achilles Tendonitis.  Been dealing with it off and on for almost a year, I'm taking extra time right now to hopefully end it once and for all.

I seem to have a very minor injury that runs around my body, finding a place to reside for a couple weeks at a time.  This winter it was my foot, then it was my knee, now it feels like my hips.  Nothing too awful, just an annoying little pain.

Torn meniscus. Wearing a brace, waiting for surgery. No running, and lately swimming has become painful. However, biking is ok, and aqua jogging seems to work also.

I'm in the achilles tendinitis group.  Chronic hip stuff.  Chronic neck stuff.  The achilles has been ongoing for about 19 months so I guess that chronic too.

I have a broken toe (second toe, right foot), but nothing some sports tape and a healthy third toe can't fix.

It's minor and won't keep me from racing.
