By the time you hit the transition area, the suit is already at your waist. In the water, a wetsuit will 1 ) provide you with a significant amount of bouyancy. You basically float on top of the water. This will help your speed and keep your heart rate lower. 2 ) a wetsuit will keep you warmer. However, if you borrow the suit, be sure to try it out in the pool. It might take a little time to get used to the restricting feeling of the suit. |
