Run
Comments: I went out pretty hard and maybe lost a little coming back in but was pretty steady the whole way. I tried to keep a buddy in view the whole time and ran side by side with the overall #1 female What would you do differently?: Try and stay within a pack of runners a little more Transition 1
Comments: Could have been faster with my shoes without socks but I am really glad I had them for the run so I don't mind. It was good to have my cap on when I hit the water, just fiddled a little bit with getting the goggles snug Swim
Comments: I stayed on the feet of the top female pretty much the whole swim which was really nice cause she seemed to know where she was going and swam really strong the whole time. What would you do differently?: Maybe just get a little further out and really working on powering through and bilateral breathing less. No more every stroke to the right stuff! Transition 2
Comments: I spent to much time fiddling with my bag, should have just grabbed my shoes and busted out of there. Run
Comments: Second run was really strong I thought. I pushed pretty hard from the start and had a very fast kick left at the end. The only difficulty I had was a side stitch at the turnaround the last for about a half mile. I lost close contact with my friend and faded a bit back from the top female. Caught her at the end though Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Ate a couple sub sandwiches and a coke. Stretched out a bit What limited your ability to perform faster: Just the side stitch I think on run 2 was my only problem Event comments: Well put on, very fun local race. I would definitely do it again now knowing what to expect it should be a lot better race. Last updated: 2010-08-19 12:00 AM
