Comments:

Really wanted to push the bike, to get a lead on the runners, but just felt a bit out of it, kept pushing but could not get above 20 MPH, which I need to get a lead on the fast runners
What would you do differently?:

Maybe start a bit slower, don't know, ride more ??
Transition 2
  • 01m 25s
Comments:

Great T2, changed a bit on the transition to running with a "shoe horn" for my zoots, worked great
What would you do differently?:

None, I did have some issues clipping my Garmin on my wrist band other than that it was good

Comments:

Well want can I say, I really hate to run, but the heat started kicking in, walked the water stations trying to keep my heart rate down, got passed by some many, I lost count.
What would you do differently?:

Start running more - DUH - I just love to ride and swim
Post race
Warm down:

drank water waited for the rest of our friends to finish

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Clearly the run - again

Event comments:

This is a good race, it seemed hotter this year but great routes and well run event.
