Swim
Comments: Decent swim, better than the 45 i was expecting. What would you do differently?: Not eat a powerbar that i hadn't tried previously, had to throw up once a little in the water, then had to burp vomit 2 more times. bad idea. Transition 1
Comments: Great transition, took my time and put on socks. What would you do differently?: Nothing, maybe go with a little more sense of urgency, but that's just nit picking. Bike
Comments: where to begin? I went out at first feeling terrible, took my first goo and felt much better, so i picked up the pace, then for about the next 40 miles i was riding at about a 29.8 km/hr pace and started to dream of a sub :30 finish. Dreams came crashing down when i popped my first tube, which i was able to replace in record time to renew my hopes, which were dashed all too suddenly when a pinched tube became the bane of my race.i stop to ask for a tube from someone and after 2 failed matches, i grind out the last 12 miles on a flat, with a very uninspired pace. What would you do differently?: not much i could do, except make sure i didn't pinch the spare. Transition 2

Comments: Train more long distance bricks next year! It felt decent, but i'm sure i can get to an 8 min/mile pace next year if i train better. Post race
