Comments: I carried a water bottle filled with Gatorade with me. Drank every 10 minutes or whenever a water station came up. I also took my device to alert me every 10 minutes to take a 15 second walk break, which is when I drank from my bottle. What would you do differently?: I kicked into higher gear at mile 11. In retrospect, I should have waited until mile 12. I ran out of gas around mile 12 and slowed my pace by a full minute at the end. Post race
Warm down: Walk around the finish area, drink water, gatorade, ate anything salty I could find. I was craving salt! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. This was a great race. Last updated: 2010-08-29 12:00 AM

This was an evening run that started at 9pm. I ate a light dinner around 6pm which consisted of melon and some egg whites.
10 min before the start I drank about 100 cal of gatorade (~10oz)
Jogged for 10 minutes and did a few strides.
