I have found a great solution to the roach problem, and everyone that has used it has found success with it to some degree.  Hopefully it helps you.  Go to Starbucks and ask for a bag of coffee grounds.  They are free and they give them to people for their gardens, but I use it as roach bait.  Get some big gulp cups or glass jars and fill them half way with a water/coffee ground mix.  For some reason the roaches love it and they crawl in, but cannot get out because the side of the cup/jar is too slippery.  I keep them outside my doors and I kid you not, I have not had a roach inside since.  It is nasty because they will pile up in the cup, so either dump the mixture and dead roaches out or have lots of cups ready.  It works well and is far cheaper than calling a pest control guy.

I gotta back you up on that one. He's not kidding.

Every time I leave a used coffee cup with groundsy bottom sludge in it in my sink, there will be a dead roach in it the next day. Thank God I have household help.

The problem with the coffee grounds is that it is a BAIT and you will attract every roach within blocks of your house, but it does keep them in until they get maggot ridden and STINKY!!
