Sounds reasonable, but how does that mesh with what you have done in training? Nothing new on race day, yada yada. I think I went with one at the start of the bike and one near the end. Easier for me to gel on the bike than on the run.
also going to do you more good than say half way through the run when you feel you need it, sorta too late then.
To the OP, i normally do one right before the start, half a bottoe of water/sports drink/whatever i put in my bottle that day.
maybe half a cup on the run, bu more than likely its jsut going over my head. |
