Pre-race routine:

oatmeal and diet coke.
rakced bike night before buut got to transition later than I should have. Had about 30 minutes once I got to the site and was body marked. Felt rushed. Forot to take gels out of my bag. Allyson gave me some clif shots.

not much. not allowed to swim before.

a little to much at start. Between slightly too fast start and the wetsuit, felt like I couldn't breath. Tried to slow and got my breathing together.

forgot little towel to wipe feet but not bad since it was raining and mat was wet.

long hill up Congress. Harder than it should have been given the hill work I have been doing.
Drank one large bottle of gatorade. seemed to be good amount, not too much like I usually do. Took one slif shot at start of third lap.
What would you do differently?:

still need to slow on bike so that run is better.

walked for a few minutes around mile 5. started out sort of fast (for me). start of run is always on auto pilot, it's when that turns off around mile 4 that it gets hard. short hill up Congress bridge was no fun , expecially second time.
had some water and two cups of nasty banana pure sport stuff.
bring own drink.
What would you do differently?:

Just gotta keep going.
