Subject: RE: broken wristband Garmin 310 Mine snapped this morning on a run. I wasn't really going fast enough that the wind would have blown it off (grin ) so I think it just decided it was "done". Mine wasn't the strap but the little plastic pins that attach the strap to the main body. I called Garmin, was on hold for 30 mins, but then got a really great rep who said to send it to them and they would send out a replacement for free (my 405 is about 3 yrs old but she said the break seemed to be in a weird place and there was nothing I/they could do to fix it )...So in 7-10 days I should have a new one (let's hope ). For now, I guess I am training on RPE :- ) If this works out I will be thoroughly impressed with the way they handled it. |
