Pony Express Run- Beautiful 15Mile Trail Run

For anyone in late season shape looking for a Beautiful Training Run or Challenging Race if you wanna make it so- 15Mile Trail Run around Rampart Reservoir outside Woodland Park CO this Sunday Sept 19th. 8am Start, Race Day Registration (Only) begins at 7am, and is only $10, $6 for Pikes Peak Road Runner Members.

Times were up to 3:30 last couple years, which is the speed I've Run/Walked it easy in the past for training.

About 100 folks the past 2 years. BT Comment from 2009... "Nice little trail race put on by the Pikes Peak Road Runners. Very low key event, but some serious runners always participate."

The event has always made an effort to celebrate all of the runners. Thus overall and age-group awards are not given. Instead, every finisher is given a unique award each year.

Weather looks Perfect- Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 71. With a predicted temp at the 8am start of 54 rising to 63 by 11am and winds in the 3mph to 6mph range!
