Member  24 Cincinnati |  Subject: Already excited for June 26, 2011 in Columbia, MDI do business with lots of insurance agencies in Baltimore, MD. I am a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. I am a Beginner Triathlete. All of these things together are important, but June 24-26, 2011 brings it all together. I can travel to Baltimore on business (probably ). If I have to pay, I can stay with friends anyway. The Reds are playing the Orange Birdies at Camden Yard on 6/24, 6/25, and 6/26! The Columbia Celebration Sprint Triathlon (a Clydesdale-friendly event) is on 6/26/10 This is going to be epic!!! One of my agents is a multiple 70.3 and 140.6 finisher, so I will be coached and inspired. He also used to be heavy, so he knows what I'm fighting. Anyone do the Celebration Sprint this year? It was the first year, but they have lots of experience with the Olympic and HIM/IM events they hold. Did I mention that I can't wait!?!?!  |

IM CDA is that weekend and I WILL NOT be racing as a clydesdale for the first time in a few years. Like the plans for the weekend too. I am a huge baseball fan and try to combine as many games into trips and races as possible. The best for me was 04 when I am a huge Dodgers fan and my best friend is a Cardinals fan and we always said if they meet again the playoffs we are going. We live in Michigan so we flew out to LA on a Friday night, watch Saturdays Game 3 I ran the Long Beach Marathon on Sunday morning and then watched Game 4 Sunday night before flying back and going to work on Monday. |

Each step is truly a blessing to me, not to mention it being incredibly exciting and enjoyable. I don't know that I'll ever break 200 pounds...I'm 6'5" tall with a broad chest and very muscular legs. I have a 42" waist right now and weight 260. I'd have to have a 30" waist to break 200! I am, howver, looking forward to the day when I can compete in my age division, not just my weight division. |

I've also done the same course three times for the Iron Girl race. They put on a good event, very well organized. As you're doing your weekend planning for the baseball game, remember that you have to check in and rack your bike on Saturday. I'm also doing the flying pig in May, but only as part of a relay. Maybe I'll see you there! |
