Hello All,
With the season coming to an end soon, (at least us northern states) anyone have any big races coming up.  I have a Tri in Unionville IN this weekend, a 70 mile charity ride in a few weeks and then a 10K on thanksgiving but thats about it.

I've got the Syracuse 70.3 on Sunday.  Should be a good race and it looks like we've got a lot of BTers racing.

Local sprint on Sunday, B2B in November and a HM in December.  Toss in a couple of 5K's and that's the rest of the year here in NC.

I'm doing the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival 40 mile MTB race tomorrow. Although "race" might be a bit generous in my case. Ride to eat donut holes is a better description.

It is my first and only race this season. :-(

You will be fine!!!! take your time, relax and try not to think about the cold water... Supposed to be around 68...  I will be wearing a Green and White Juvenile Diabetes Race for a Cure jersey, also the big football player looking guy who clearly looks like he shouldn't be doing triathlons.  My name is Mark, if you see me come say Hi

Dude 14 - will do. My family are all coming to cheer me on and I have given my hubby solid "dont forget the corona" advice. If it falls into your post race carbohydrate recovery category come and have one too! I'll look for you and I will be way behind you with all the other over 40 warrior women! I'll be wearing my Union Jack b-ball hat - obviously not whilst racing! Good luck to you!

Not really a race but my wife and I are doing the Terry Fox run for Cancer research across the Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island on Sunday.  It will be a 13km run with 20,000 of our closest friends.    The bridge is the main link to the island and is closed to traffic for 7 hours for the event, something that only happens in extreme weather and when they had this same event 5 years ago.

What are you talking about " . . . season coming to an end . . ."?

Here in So Cal the season never ends.

But we do have a great sprint tomorrow - Pacific Coast Sprint Triathlon - a beautiful stretch of beach and a ride on a closed portion of PCH.

68 degrees! Lucky ones! I'm in San Diego doing the San Diego Tri Classic tomorrow. I was in the ocean yesterday and it was an icy 62 degrees! I'm hoping the bay will be slightly warmer. 68 sounds heavenly right now! Smile

I did an OWS Clinic last year for this one...one of these days, but I don't think I'm ready yet.

I'll be in South Lake Tahoe this weekend for the Aflac Iron Girl sprint.  I don't think I've ever been to Lake Tahoe before, so I'm looking forward to the whole experience.
