Liquidsilver - 2010-10-28 8:35 PM My buddy Madison, a welsh corgi, who came into my life when I moved in with my girlfriend a few years ago.  His version of the triathlon is eat, sleep, and walk, and he is quite adapt at it.  I brought a small pumpkin home the other day and he is convinced its food and not a decoration.  He must have starred at it nose to pumpkin for an hour that first day.  And he still runs over to it when I tell him to get his toy.

He ain't nothin' but a HOUND DOG

Awesome, he even has the Elvis stance down (re. the hind leg splayed out).

Tell Hank I highly approve. (P.S. Hint: I am the dork wearing the tri shorts underneath my Elvis outfit)

we just got pics of Abe taken. He just turned 4, and was quite fast when he was on the track. Now he just likes to sleep all day... but we're good with that.

I *rrrrrruv* the cute mutt-puppy!

I *rrrrrruv* Abe too. Retired greyhounds are so mellow!

Here is Lisa Labradog (again) and her sidekick, Suicide.

This has got to be one of my favorite BT threads ever.  What great dogs!  I just got the urge to visit the shelter to adopt another one after seeing all these amazing personalities!  Dogs are the BEST.

These are our two shelter pups.

Maggie is what we call the super-mutt.  She's definitely part chow and part boxer...but probably has some other breeds as well.  75lbs of fur, slobber and love.

And this is Charlie - part basset hound and part golden retriever.  You should hear him howl at the coyotes!  It's so loud it makes the house rattle!

Yes!!! My favorite, too.  I started this thread, which may make my statement a bit conceited but so be it!  I love the doggies!!!

Here's our Winston.  He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle (Cavapoo) and about 9 months old.  Our son has allergies so we have to go with the 'designer' breeds.  We are picking up a Labradoodle tomorrow.  So excited, he's either gonna be black or chocolate.  Name suggestions are welcome!

I just realized that Buddy and I have very similar haircuts.

He had also just spotted a squirrel.

xxblueyesxx - 2010-11-01 5:24 PM Here's my sweetie pie...

... she's about 9 weeks old in this picture - born in February, so doing the math, about 9 months old currently.  && lots bigger!  I will have to see if I can find a more current picture.  She's definitely part Golden Retriever/Collie (mom dog) but not sure what dad dog is, possible St. Bernard.  She looks more like a German Shepherd though.

Are her ears still floppy?  Look up Leonberger in google, the black mussle may point to a Leo.

This is mine....we had to put her down this past Tuesday.  Cheyenne had made it 11 years and had severe stomach cancer.  She was my girl.

Here is a little bit of video my son and I took while we were out hiking the Appalachian Trail yesterday. The lab is 2, she'll be 3 in January. The Great Dane is 5 months. I wanted to get more video, I should have checked the batteries in the camera. I missed the cool stuff.

Enjoy!

And this is why my cat is called Suicide, and why Lisa Labradog comes up with evil complicated schemes like carjacking and driving into the cats' perch.

Suicide in full attack mode while Lisa was peacefully snoozing:

Lisa: "Mom, do I really have to put up with this s*&$%#!!!!!"

Suicide's always gotta stick her head in Lisa's bowl to steal food while she's eating ...
