It might just be you. My right boob is bigger than my left and there is not much I can do about that. Get someone to tape you running. The answers will all me in the microfilm.

Me too! the guys at the gym make such fun of me... my left calf (non dominant side, strangely enough) is MUCH bigger. When people ask, now I just say it's because of an injury I sustained in 'Nam. Shuts them up.

My right forearm is noticibly bigger than my left, coz I used to play tennis.  My right foot is bigger and my left but left hand bigger than my right.  No one is completely symmetrical.

Pretty normal.  Dominant sides can develop differently.

Now if you are looking like a genetic freak then check your running form.

If you use your calfs a lot while biking, are you using your bigger calf more than the other?

Muscle imbalance is normal, and something you have to work at to balance out.

One thing you can do if you're worried about your running stride is just focus your attention on engaging the muscles of your right leg. It sounds utterly dumb, but it works. Try to feel how the muscles in your left leg feel when you run, and then concentrate on making your right leg feel like that too. Similarly with cycling.

Sigh....wouldn't have expected less form you Welshy.
NE ways I notice that my Left leg (non dominant side) isn't noticeably larger than my right but it can do aobut an extra ten pounds at the gym. Weird but I think that you should work on balancing out your stride and pedal stroke to help you get more efficent. A more dominant muscled could mean that your not working at your most efficent point

My right forearm is bigger than the left, but I don't think that's from tri training...

No one is perfectly symetrical. Your dominant side also plays an important role.
A PT friend did some test on me, It turns out I have the left glute stronger than the right and I am more flexible with my right leg, that affects my whole stride.... try isolating excersises (like doing calf raises each leg separately) it may help you to balance them. She gave me a whole set of excersises per leg, In my case, a weak glute is compensated by a strong quads (the right quad was stronger than the left) that also affected the hamstrings, and so on, it kind of follows a X pattern from leg to leg.... I didn't know that!. It may be that you calf is not the problem but another weak muscle, then your body has to compensate with the left calf...
