Pre-race routine:

Drove to Banff in the AM. Found a parking spot, and walked over to the Race. Lots of people downtown. Fun vibe.

Event warmup:

Met up with a teammate and her hubby. So michelle and I ran around a bit with them.

Comments:

Couldn't I find another 18 seconds in me?
Not a great run at all. Didn't warm up enough knowing that there was the big hill 1km into the run. My calves were super tight and I couldn't force myself to run up the hill. Disappointing, but it is a tough run. Winner only ran 34minutes.

What would you do differently?:

I should have stretched. My fault. But I knew I had a 1/2 marathon coming this weekend, and didn't push myself too hard. It was a fun run, but I did feel pretty disappointed not breaking an hour.

Great party atmosphere. Lot of people around. Lots of door prizes, but out household batted 0-fer on them.
