Subject: duke city marathon relay questions
Good morning,
I'm doing the duke city marathon as part of a relay team. Does anyone know how the chip timing is done for a relay team? Do we get one chip and have to pass it to the next runner? Thanks,

That would be my guess... pass the chip on at the transition points.
That way they can be sure that relay team runners actually met each other along the course.

there is a magnetic strip that is passed on to the next runner. you carry it on your hand. .(at least that's how is done in other marathons)
