Pre-race routine:

Ate a couple of Clif Bars, talked with friends. I was a little bummed because I really wanted to be racing Halfmax 70.3 in Myrtle Beach(turns out the swim was cancelled so ended up a duathlon at 69.1)
Since I was trained for a half ironman I decided that one of two things was going to happen, I was going to either
A. PR which would be 1:44:18 or better
B. Bonk in the process.

Performance: Good
I accidentally reset my watch, so I lost my splits. I had looked at them, my worst mile was 8:09, my best was 6:20, Miles 2-5 were all sub 7's. It was a good race and a PR by over 8 mins.
Course: Rolling start, flat in the 2nd quarter, then some pretty tough hills followed by a very flat final mile.
