Pre-race routine:

Woke up to the sound of wind, very windy. Had bagel, 2 ensures and cliff bar. Drove to transition.
Event warmup:

Set up transition and back to car to stay warm. Put on wetsuit to stay warm once I returned to transation. Sat down wind of support trailer. Did I mention it was windy? Cold too by the water.

For once happy with pace since I hit by goal pace. Once agian, worse event was the run. Next year goals to loose weight and more run focused. Need to get pace into low 8:00 or dare I say 7's?
What would you do differently?:

Train harder on the run.

Warm down:

Smoothies at finish was nice, changed into warm clothes.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Too fat to run fast.

Event comments:

Considering this was first race put on in Red Bank and the conditions, excellent race. RD made right decision to modify swim course. Excellent traffic control.
