could not get into rhythm at first. didn't flip-turn to get the effect of swimming the full 600 meters. rested 15 sec after first 200 yards, then swam slower, concentrated on form.

did some minor weights since I was at the gym.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

severely out of shape from last year's two injuries, but felt great to complete all 3 parts of a sprint (mock) tri. The last one completed was Oct 2002.

Event comments:

race basically gives me a yardstick to go by for the rest of this year.
