I'm in for my 5th in a row. Then I'm doing Playa del Rey next week. That is, as long as I don't wreck some important body part this weekend.

Solid finish fastyellow. Get some rest, unless you are doing Carson

Thanks!

I think I'm done for the year with tri's. Got a swim race and a 10k scheduled but that's it for 2010!

Finished another one. Were the times slower this year, or was it just me? Still won my AG, but 3:44 slower than last year.

Now a week in recovery and then back for more at Playa del Rey 10/17.

I would have done this one if I hadn't heard about it two days before the event. Sounded like fun though.

That was a fun race! But then again I haven't yet been to a race that wasn't fun.

Parking was the only downside of the whole day (despite hubby's assurance that because he used to surf Hermosa, he knew where to park), and while I won't be a top 3 or top 5 AG finisher for quite some time yet, I'm pleased to have finished 16th out of 53 in my AG (F 30-34) in my 2nd sprint tri with only about 2.5 months of tri-specific "training" under my belt. :D

Great job Jennifer! I got there early and parked right next to transition...it always pays to be early!

If I was going by myself I would have definitely done that. I brought along a husband who stayed up way too late the night before (until 2 or 3am?!) and our 3-year old who told me he wasn't going to sleep in the car, he was ready for "the race".   It worked out fine though, and parking was only an issue due to the line of people waiting to pay at the kiosk. I'm just glad I had someone with me to stand in line and pay while I set up transition and came back to join them after the pre-race meeting, having nearly an hour to kill till my wave started at 7:42am.
