Pre-Race Ride at Pleasant Prairie

Extreme Veteran  499   Racine WI |  Subject: Pre-Race Ride at Pleasant PrairieI would like to know if there is any interest from anyone in getting together on either Aug 6th or 13th at about 9am to pre-ride the Olympic distance ride for the event. If there is, just post here or PM me and I will coordinate and keep in touch with everyone who is interested. This will be a non-competitive slow paced ride for those who wish to just become familiar with the course prior to the race. Have a good day everyone. Mark |

I am interested...I have been trying to get time to get my bike in to get my new tires but have had no luck finding time! I will get to it this weekend FOR SURE!!! Anyway...As of right now, I am in a volleyball tournament on the 6th and will be there all day. The 13th, I have a wedding, but not until the afternoon, so a morning ride should work great I'll have to let you know for sure--we'll see how much interest there is. I know Ty had wanted to partake -- right Ty??? |

Let me know if you do ride the 6th, what kind of distance (oly/sprint) are you looking at? I really could use a long ride, maybe we could do the course twice? I'll be watching, hopefully this time I can make it up to meet you guys! |

Our bike club rides out in this area regularly so I'm pretty familiar with the roads. It's quite rural without much traffic, mostly flat. Swimmom, we can ride longer if you like. If no one else wants to you and I can just keep going |
