Get used to the cold water with no wetsuit. Swim a few hundred yards.

Comments:

Didn't bother with the wetsuit and only a few people did. Not the best way to start off the day. Swim time included the entire run from the end of the dock to transition, but still, this was a slow swim.

No warm down, just hop in the lake for 10 minutes or so.

Event comments:

A very conservative strategy and as a result I was well down on the placings. That kinda sucked, but I was hoping that it would pay off over the rest of the weekend.
