There's not much cheaper and easier than a simple zombie costume. Grab some clothes you aren't too fond of, shred and bloody them up a bit, and put on some white/grey makeup with some blood.

It shouldn't cost any more than $15 for the required makeup and blood, and the costume is free.

Take a white T-shirt, and paint ( use a large permanent marker if you want) and make a large "P" on it.

Then take some make up and give your self a black eye. ( You can go down to the bottoms and pay "bubba" to give you a real one but I don't suggest doing that.)

BOOM your a black eyed P (pea)!!!

Also if you are going out with others you can all dress in green, including green bandannas on your heard. You are "Gang Green."

My neighbor a couple of houses down from me did a variant of this - he used some sport eye stuff (football players use) around his one eye, and then had a bunch of cut-out "P"s glued or taped on his outfit, getting Black-Eye Peas (plural).  I was out of touch with the music scene at the time a couple of years ago and didn't know who the group was (a good year or two prior to Boom Boom Pow was made), and was like "HUH?? WHO??".

One of you dress in all white, one in all black.  Stick an 'S' on the one in white, a 'P' on the one in black, take a couple of cheap knit hats, put some felt circles in contrasting colors, and poof!  Salt and Pepper shakers!
