rr is up.

organization good.  start good and on time.  swim good.  had people drafting on my for 3-4 miles had to tell a group of 4 to drop or pass with expletives.  run was good.  food was horrible.  post race ok.

not too much fun for spectators as i had friends racing half iron distance.

i would recommend the race though.  solid performance.

Hi Guys....

Hope Everybody had a great Race....BTW...Excellent as usual....

I had a great time and too much fun at the Miami Man yesterday. A little disspointed cuz I couldn't get my goal, to beat my time from last year. Unfortunate had a flat tire after a malicious massive tack attack along the Bike Course that cost me more than 23 minutes, but at least I did it and Finished very strong...Watch-out Velo will be back next year....!!!!

According with the people of Andante one of the Support Mechanic Group...there were in total 57 flats

Also had problems with my Co2 cartridge...a guy racing stopped to help me with his Co2 cart and he couln't either...and...I decided to run with my bike...crazy Velo...I was 6 miles far from Transition....then...a good friend of mine, David Gomez that works for the Race stopped and asked me if I needed a ride to Transition...and...I say NO...I'm not going to quit...LOL

Despite the circunstances...I never quited...with determination continued...and....still I can't believe that I ran with my bike for almost 1 mile....wuaooo...but....by my surprise...my Buddy  (Robert) that was racing too...was coming and stopped and helped me to change the tubular tire....Uffffff....He saved my Race....Thanks Babu....!!! LOL

Great race, Multirace always does a very nice job. I wish I could have performed better though. Oh well.

I might have been seeing things, but did anyone else see someone on the bike pulling a baby trailer? Maybe I was delirious.

Man, I was wondering why there were so many flats.  My buddies and I wondered if there was a saboteur and it looks like there was.  Crummy.  Otherwise it was a great day and once again MultiRace put on a well-supported and punctual race.  Kewl.

Yeap.....

A very malicious massive tack attack....a sabotage....

Check this Pic....

Some of the tubes collected for the Official Race Mechanic...but...these people were awesome....they saved the Race of many participants bringing spare tubes to many of them...and....a few of them had 2 and 3 flats.....Yikes....!!!

At least I'm local....but....I can't imagine something like this happen to someone that came from far or from other country....but....MultiRace did a great job...they sent 6 trucks with the Official Mechanics (Andante Crew) when they heard about the sabotage in the Bike Course....they did the best they could....

But....even the circunstances....the best Race....the Miami Man was a blast....Thanks MultiRace....!!!

That was a great story with special needs participants beign able to join in on the day.  I really was upset to miss the race this year after so much fun the last few years.   That said, will be back in 2011 for sure.   Velorider, where is the famous race report that I look forward to reading with 1,000 pics posted?
