Pre-race routine:

up at 4:30...two servings of bare naked protein cereal with 1 cup almond milk and 1 ensure....sipped sports drink on the way...roughly 650 calories
Event warmup:

set up transition, jogged around, sipped sports drink and took a gu 15 min prior to start...they would not let us warm up in the water :(

this was my best ows yet...started out in front and had someone just to the right of me the whole way to the first turn bouy...after that i never saw him again..having him right beside me helped me push it and once i made the turn home i kept a good pace all the way in...

i wanted to go sub 21:00 and just barely didnt...i feel i could have done it but i didnt get my garmin set up in time when i crossed the mat so i didnt know i was that close...

Warm down:

water, pizza, beer, pasta....wathed gaven and jennifer come in off the bike and run...was really cool to be able to cheer them on :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

nothing...my HIM training makes for fun sprint races..

yea man, i think i could have pushed a little harder had i known i was that close...i didnt get my 405 tickin right out of transition so i didnt know i was that close....it was a great race overall thought...faster in all 3 disciplines across the board...cant complain about that Cool
