Congratulations Team!!! You all rock! I hurt my flipper so I'm going to see the doc today about it. He is an elite triathlete so he will do the best he can to get me up and running again soon.

Today was pretty average. Looking forward to tomorrow (Wed.) though. I'm swimming with TriGreenie from the site. I'm a bad bad bad swimmer. He's a pretty frickin good swimmer who flies through the water. Every little bitof advice helps!

Forgot to tell yall about my race.  I did the same course that I had done the month before...I bettered my time by 4 minutes, and more importantly, I felt reasonably good after it was over!

So Iz be thinkin to meye-self how goodz dis team Redundancy Team's bin doin, and says to myself, "hey, dis is quite da Leet group of indvijuals. Dey could up their trainin somehow." And as I down dis gl-ass of milk, Eye think dat lactic acid trainin might help yer body raice better. So eye propose, ehf you have da tyme, we do a laktic acid training set dis weekend instead of da brick. Here's what I think:

Swim workouts shood be sometin like 50s, where one is super ez, the next two are fast enough to get your heart pumpin where it's hard to breathe. I'd go 18x50, 1ez, 2 fast.

Bike workouts should play in and out of your lactic heart rate zone. for instance, you could do a set of 1min @ 75%, 1min @ 85%, 1@75, 2@85, 1, 3, 1, 4, 1, 3, 1, 2, 1, 1.

I like to do the running workouts of 20 foot falls fast, 20 easy, 40, 40, 60, 60, 80, 80, ... 150ish.

Anyway, I hear races are going well. So keep up the work and the races become better!

Amy- have you thought of commuting to work? It helps a lot.

Not sure about tonight. I'll be lucky and hard-stretched to get a workout in today. Tomorrow should be a good swim and the weekend should involve one or more rides with one of them being long, and more swimming. I can't run on my leg until Monday, which sucks but I don't want to hurt it any more. I'm starting to worry about my run goal - dumb injuries! Need to run on Monday to see how everything feels before I'll know though.

Saturday I wish eye could go for a swim werkhout. Ehf I can't maik it into town dat day, Ille force myself too traiyen an hour in da lake (I swim more when it's in da pool). Sunday Ille stick to my do-a-brick brick-weekend.
Hen-ne-way, Eye think Ille check a-rowend other peepels logs two sea how their doing. Take it easy!

Grrr...got run over playing baseball last night. Left cleat stuck in the ground, while the rest of the body twisted. Strained ligament (left groin area). Doc said it wouldn't make it worse by running/biking as long as i don't wrench it again, just that it would cause pain until healed. He did say that i should swim, and that swimming will help rehab it quicker. Sorry guys.

There's nothing wrong with swim workouts!! If you want, just ask me to put together a workout for X many minutes and Y many meters - I've done so many workouts, I can pull them from anywhere!

Spee-king of witch, I am 49% bike, 45% run, and 20% swim. Let's knot tink bout my swim b/c I'm sandbagging in dat de-partmint, and hope to bee @ 50% by Tooesday. What Eye wood like to point out, udder dan how you want to be @ 50% by twomore-ow, you need to taper four your A-race, where my taper is da last week of august. Furdermoore, ehf you're three weeks away from your raice, dis week is de tyme ewe want to put in your most kwality trayning. So if you're set on may-king 100%, adjust your weekly training due two rayce taipers, and pre-race hard training. I kan't wait too here da half-way reezults!
