Just an FYI, I'm in taper mode for a tri on Sunday. Good news is that I'll hit my swim and bike goals. Bad news is my run goal will fall short due to my stupid leg/ankle injury. Kept me from running for a week, which is going to account for about the 8 - 10 miles I'll fall short (goal was 40). Sorry about not being able to hit that one, but with 4 races in this last month (two tris and two swim/runs), I had to rest it for that week.

oooo, I'm not close to hitting my goals. I need two more runs in, three more bikes in, and I can finish my swim in one session. But I still have like 5 days to do this all, I think it's possible! Keep it up team! Himself: I'll see what the possibilities are for the challenge given your ankle.

Good work team three! Everyone who can, finish hard! himself, getting a good taper in is more important, and don't feel bad about an injury limiting you to 40 miles, I havn't been able to do over 25 KM. Hopefully I can rejoin this wicked team in a month or two if we still have this going all. Great work everyone, and work your asses off at the finish!

It's going to be a tight finish, but here's what I got planned - just so you guys aren't worrying about me.

Run tomorrow - 11k... about 5k to finish.
Drive back home for twelve hours on sunday... maybe swim for 800m so I only have to do 5k'ish to finish
Bike/run on monday - 30k/5k - 25k left on the bike, finish run
Swim Tuesday - 5k (if you don't think I can do it, then how did I do 80x100 when I was in club swimming... I'll go 6x100, 5x200, 4x300, 3x400, 2x500 or something of the sort)... finish swimming

bike for 25k wed, finish bike.

The weather doesn't seem that bad. Just make sure I don't stray from this schedule... or I"ll be doing a huge mock tri on wednesday!

DAMN!! GO BOY!!
i was gonna run this morning but my legs were wore out (likely from the two two-a-days i did). I think i'll take an active rest day (maybe swim a half mile tonight), then get back in gear on saturday. Figure the rest will be worth more than the strain.

My BT pal just destroyed me ego today. I've done 13600m this month, and she reminds me that she used to do that in one day (so did I at one point in my career too!) ugh... time to hit up that pool!

ok...went to my first round of PT and to the surgical cosult today for my groin pull (surgeon to make sure it wasn't a hernia). Both said i need to 'rest' to prevent further injury and to let it heal properly. That kinda puts me out for the last 2 days of the challenge. Sorry i gaffed on the swimming guys (and girls).

that's cool. Don't look back in 6 months with a sore groin and say "if only I hadn't done that internet challenge" I'll probably make my goals!!! Keep it up everyone!

I'll hit my bike and swim goals tonight with no problem. I'll fall short on my run. Sorry. Congratulations to those that were able to hit everything, and even to those that only hit some!

I haven't been around lately to see how everyone is doing. My apologies. I've been too busy training....

I beat the challenge Biatches!!!! Wow, it feels great.

Now I'm in serious need to taper for sunday (it's not like I wanted a 2 week taper anyway).

Keep it up everyone!! go for that last easy run/bike/swim.

Seriously team, I feel so much stronger now, and I don't have doubts of doing my first olympic!!! I hope you feel the same way too. Great work this month.

I guess this is like good bye, 'cause it's swim training from now on. I might log miles on this site, I might not. Anyway, take it easy, and enjoy your new found fitness.

Peace
