Subject: RE: Question about sea-swims and salt-water intake I keep two large bottles of water at the transition area (1 for washing feet, 1 for swishing water in mouth ), expecially in the ocean. As you are prepping to head off on the bike, gurgle and swish plenty of water (spit it directly under your bike ), before heading off.
Otherwise you may be tempted (like me ), to drink sooner and more than you plan to on the race, causing you to run out of water than aticipated. |
