Just found out I got in through the lottery!  Anyone else doing this swim?

It's been a while since I've done any serious swim training, so I need to start buckling down one of these days.

Don't lose hope yet; they are still drawing names.  Looks like about 150 slots still to be filled.

I did it last year. And I got a lottery slot this year. But I have a MAJOR vacation coming up in December and couldn't justify blowing $250 on this right now (in November) when I still have 6 flights to book for that vacation.

But it was a BLAST. And I really wish I could do it again!! I probably will next year since the qualification is good for 2 years. I'll probably do the same hellish 3 mile River Swim in May agian instead. Honestly, the Bay Bridge was easier even though it was longer. And took less time!!
