My Cannondale rain bike is called "Squeaky"....my Pinarello FP3...well I am still trying to find exactly the right name, but often I refer to it as "My Italian stud" so that may just be it....."The Italian"..... I dream of riding it a lot!  I love spending lots of long, hard, quality time with it.    Considering Vesuvius.....and a few other names.

Jaipur (it's a pink city in the desert in India) - had to do a lot of research to come up with that... I live in the desert and with the pink fork it's fitting

My wife calls my Cervelo P2 "The Mistress" as well.
But secretly I call her "Lucille" - partly because she reminds me of an ex-girlfriend (she was fast girl  and ocassionaly a bit unstable) and partially because like B.B.King's guitar, we make sweet music together. (you have to love the blues to understand that one)

I named my bikes through necessity to annoy all the facebook users who keep talking about what their kids have done, such as *&^% has just walked 3 steps,  &^**^^ has slept all night.

Sooooo I named my trek Timmy, my kinesis Kelvin, my Condor Fratello Freddie, my Gary Fischer mountain bike just plain old Gary and my wifes trek Tammy.

Every time I see a facebook post about kids stuff I now post my own about how my kids are doing and what they have been up to ;o))))))))

eg Been out with Timmy today who seemed to enough it, however Freddie, Kelvin and Gary are feeling left out.

Rather childish (parden the pun) but it keeps me amused )))

PS....... The childrens names have been deleted to protect the innocent. )

cwpeters - 2010-11-14 9:34 PM One the way home from the LBS with my new black with white & silver trim Orbea, Ram Jam's "Black Betty" was playing on the radio.  She was named for me.

I was thinking about that name too, until I thought about the "Bam-a-Lam" part. Yell

Mako.

Ride a black TCR Aero from Giant. My kids love watching Napoleon Dynamite, so they obviously named her La-Fonda.

Yes, I'm one of "those" people that name things...

First car: Ruby Sex Kitten (or Ruby for short)
The Jeep: Junior
First motorcycle: Lola (she was a show girl)
Current motorcycle: Zeus
Cervelo P1: George!

Funny how once I was single my bikes all had boy names...
