Hey look at it this way, every long run you do from here on out will be a PR for you!

Good luck on race day and I'll see you in the post race party tent.  I'll be the guy dancing like a fool right up front by the band.... a few Yuenglings can do some damage after 26 or so miles of running!

Feeling good, Jennifer, thanks for asking.  I'm in Mary taper mode but HIM base mode putting in about 8 hours of training a week, so it'll be interesting to see how I feel.  Running this one with my wife so I'll be doing a slower than normal pace... hopefully that helps get me through!

Weather does look good mid 50 and mostly sunny!  Fingers crossed!

Have fun and good luck!!!

Hope everyone had a great race. I had to stop after 13.1. I had pulled something in my right calf on Sat while doing a easy 2 miles to keep the legs loose. Heard a pop and couldn't weight bear and hobbled home about .5 mile. Got some ultrasound done before leaving for VA Beach. At the expo had it taped by the people doing free taping and was bearly able to get the half mary done. Didn't want to risk any more injury so I can get to my IMFL training healthy. Really disappointed but know that I made the right decision! IMFL is my only goal this year!!!

Yea it was, but then again it always is.  They play up the "flat" course, but rarely ever tell you that it is ALWAYS windy in VA Beach!
