Not a bad results considering the complete lack of swimming I've been doing. I was a little rusty going arounfd the bouy though. I came in too steep and got caught up in the washing machine.

Kept getting caught in a pack of guys who couldn't figure out where the left side of the road was. There were a lot of position fouls but they said from the beginning that they where not going to be enforcing them. Not a bad resut considering that I have done next to no riding at all.

The run was ok. I could feel the mileage from the marathon training on them though. My legs were tired for sure. I caught the guy ahaead of me in my age group and thought I was going to be able to pass him, but then we hit the beach. I simply didn't have the strength in my legs to fight the sand. When I switched to running on the wet, jagged rocks I almost fell a couple of times. So I resolved to slow down and not get hurt considering the marathon is coming up in 3 weeks. I think I could have won my AG if I was willing to risk it but I erred on the side of caution.
