Just talked with the RD...170 online registrations in as of 2 PM and Big Peach is taking registrations...Assume they will be over 200 by COB.  This race will close in the next day.  There is only 300 slots available. 

Sign up now or you will not get in.  If you do not get in, you will kick yourself.

Sad to be missing this race, but I'll be rooting for yous!

BTW, that is a pretty tough race...IMO. Very competitive, with just enough hills to kick your arse...twice. Last year, it was pretty damn cold, too. I raced it and the days after the race, I was pretty darn sore...

I'd say the Leita Thompson Memorial Park is your best bet.  It's only 2.5 miles, but you can do a couple loops. 

Maybe we can get a group together for a trail run.

 

btw, the race is sold out.

I signed up even though I figured I'd end up regreting it. I'm glad I did though since it will be a good crew....Somehow, that always convinces me to sign up for ridiculous things
