My camera is not cooperating, need to replace it so I took these with my phone today

 

Hmmm, need to find them in the downloaded file now!

Too much work!  Gotta resize them!

Didn't have a lot of opportunity to get out this week but had my p&s with me when I saw this scene.

 

Peby, awesome pic.

I took the only opportunity I had which was through my dirty car window while stuck in traffic last night.  Couldn't get autofocus to work so image isn't great.  Decided to make the most of it by playing with Photoshop.  Here is the result.  This is a Fresco image!

Okay, I am TOTAL COMPLETE AMATEUR!!!  BUT w/ all the snow this morning I grabbed my camera, and then as afterthought, figured this would be fitting....

Nothing as professional and detailed as some of the amazing photos you all have posted, but here is a Japanese Maple in my backyard.  I like how the sun is shining through it.

I really enjoyed taking pics of trees this week as we're about peaking in GA with the fall colors.  Took some beautiful ones on my bike ride yesterday.  Best thing about the contest though is it made me more aware and appreciative of my surroundings.

 still looks pretty good.

I love my macro lens... I know I'll end up with a hundred bee stings or ant bites with it.    I'm always looking for trouble

If this one doesn't look as good as the original, the original must be stunning.

guys, since the past two weeks these seem to be getting a bit smaller, lets keep it open one more day and see if we get any/enough more to make that a worthwhile thing to do.

if it doesn't result in anything more then we'll go back to the day less next week.
