Ate breakfast, and picked up friends on way to race.
Event warmup:

Ran a bit to get HR up, stretched out my left calf really well as it has been causing me some pain.

I should have pushed it a bit harder, felt like I had some left in tank at the end. I was afraid of going to fast.

Nice race Charlie.  You've come a long way, the training is paying off.  It's always challenging to know how hard to push and not go over the edge.
