Ran a Turkey Trot 10K this morning...I know its not fast, but it was a PR and my first sub-1hr 10k (59:04) so I'm happy with it.

I did a 4 mile turkey trot that started at 16 degrees.  In fact my friend pointed out when I finished that my sweat on my hair had frozen.  My back has been in pain since Sunday so I was really happy to be able to do it.  It was so nice to start my day off with my running friends who I am eternally grateful for.

3 mile easy run and 100 situps and 100 pushups.

Now, I need to get ready for the mega-reps of fork-lifting and chewing.

11 total miles of running split between warm up, 5k, and cool down and then a 6 mile run a bit later in the day.

I was shooting for around 19 min in the 5k, but ended up with 19:24 because of blustery conditions and two slow miles by the lead group of runners, which I didn't want to lead.
