Comments: Started off for the first half at about a 9:30 pace. Slowed around mile 8 due to energy loss. Downed a gel and some powerade and started to feel better. Ran last 5-6 miles at about 10:30 apace. Really struggled with keeping pace in last 3 miles. Forced myself to keep running. It hurt, but I was able to finish strong. Felt much stronger than in previous halfs. Better training really paid-off. Goal was to finish in 2:15 or less and I did it! PR by 16 minutes on a much hillier course than Disney. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I am really pleased with my effort. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed some food and met up with my group. What limited your ability to perform faster: Wow, that course was hilly. I think we ran on every street with a hill in downtown Atlanta. Last updated: 2010-11-28 12:00 AM

Got up at 5am and ate my oatmeal. Met lifetime group for carpool downtown.
Walked to my start corral and did a few stretches.
