Comments: Went out and thought based on the size of the race that I should be ~top 10. So the first 2 miles just put myself in that group of 5 guys. Around 2 though I started to slow a bit and the bunch seperated and I was with 2 other guys that I lost around mile 3. The rest of the run was really lonely as the wind was horrible and it was blowing the snow sideways. I couldn't see the person in front or behind me for most of the race and I left my watch on the night before so it was dead. I was flying blind most of the run and now I wish I would have had it with me because I let myself settle too much in the 2nd half of the race. The last 3 miles were tough mentally because I didn't want to be out there anymore and it got hilly. Post run I wasn't exhausted so again, I'm leaving some time out there. but I didn't plan on "racing" today, just running. Post race
Warm down: Hot chocolate What limited your ability to perform faster: Training. Snow. Event comments: Good small race for a good cause. Still think I could have gone 1:13 that day, and ~1:09 in better conditions. Last updated: 2010-12-17 12:00 AM

1PM CST race. Stayed up late the night before so I slept in til 11:45, woke up and changed. Ate 1/2 banana.
None, Haven't run this far for about 2 months so I didn't need any extra miles
