Some people call me crazy, but I have my workouts already planned for these days (you gotta think ahead when traveling to visit family!)

Christmas Eve: 2 hr endurance ride on fluid trainer, P90X Yoga (mid-morning/early afternoon)
Christmas Day: Easy run, any pace I want, 3miles + (early early morning, streets will be empty!)
Boxing Day: 18mile long run with a competitive family member (morning)

What do you have planned?

As per my usual, I have no plan.  Happy Holidays everyone, and enjoy!

I'm getting up at 11pm on Christmas day to make my summit attempt of Kilimanjaro!

Christmas eve will be spent attempting to acclimate to the high altitude

My planned runs on the 24th & 26th seem pretty lame now....

That is a cool way to spend Christmas.
My colleague Alex and his wife Alexandra will be summitting Killimanjaro the same day! If you see a Russian-Canadian couple up there, say 'hi' from Mark.

Completely serious. Though, we wake up on Christmas day late to summit, so I'll summit on the 26th, if all goes as planned!

Enjoy your trip! We went to Tanzania in 2003 and did the Kili/safari/Zanzibar circuit. Summiting Kilimanjaro was a defining moment in my life. I'm envious and hope that you come back here to report on it.

Snowboarding, maybe some snowshoeing, mostly trying to adjust to the 9000 altitude increase from KS to CO.

I'm going to try and train all three days but have to be flexible as travelling so will just do what I can.

My training is more of in a do what I can mode right now due to health reasons. So I will be doing what I can on the 24th and 26th (running) and taking the 25th off.

I'll be visiting my parents in FL and I cannot wait to swim outside and run in the daylight (assuming it's warmed up down there some...)

My plan has me swimming on Christmas Eve, doing a 5 mile run on Christmas Day and then either an easy swim or run early on the day after before catching a plane and spending the rest of the day in transit.
